Should I get a metal or wood garage door?

All materials are going to have their benefits and drawbacks, as with anything. If you do prefer a more natural warmth and earthy feel, then a wood garage door might be right for you. If you want something low maintenance, then either a steel or an aluminum door might be the option to go with. In any case, materials are endless and you just need to research based on your wants and needs.

Should I get an insulated garage door?

Depending on your use of your garage, the area you live in and whether your garage is attached to your home or not, will help you in deciding if you need an insulated garage door. An insulated garage door is useful for many things including regulating the temperature of your garage in both the winter and summer months. It also is typically quieter than traditional doors.

What is the lifespan of a garage door?
